What is it about Peter Pan that makes me smile through tears and whisper that to the screen as the children chant it in the movie?

Peter Pan...
all about a boy that doesn't want to grow up enamored with a girl that does.

It's all about growing up and falling in love for the first time...and the lengths we go through to obtain it and make it ours...even if we don't realize that's what we are doing. Love...should always be that pure.

Neverland was a wonderful place...yet not a place for love. Quite ironic.

I think from now on I will chant that whenever I am wishing to be any place but here...anyone but me...to remind myself that only here in the real world can I find myself and the love I am waiting for.

But I can still dream of the second star...all the way to morning.
