First Entry Today

Today�s Weather: Vodka raindrops pelting already drunken memories

So yeah�

The overly awesome Chickpea beat me to the punch about my annoyances with this one chick�s banners that only lead to a locked diary. Dumb ass that I am, it took me awhile to figure out why the stupid message box would pop up and ask me for a password (even if I never clicked the banner) to something I didn�t even know where it was.

Did that even make sense?

Probably not�but making banners to take folks to a site that you want to be secret from certain people so you keep it locked doesn�t make sense either. So NAH!!

I�m here at work�bored out of my gourd�sifting through back entries of some of my faves here on Dland�when I went to my list of those that love me, and saw that someone else added me.

*swoon*

Now, I am not vain. Nor do I write in this thing for popularity or laughs. I just write whatever stupid, whiney, sometimes pithy thought that comes to my mind, so the fact that people read me�better yet save me as a favorite on their site, honors me and humbles me greatly. Especially when I am listed by so many whose writing (and lives) I really admire. All the people I have saved on my list mean a lot to me�and the fact that I mean ANYTHING to some folks out there well�hell�it just fucking feels good.

So thank you all�that come, read, and comment�.veni, vidi, vici�I love you all.

Ok�so the veni, vidi, vici thing was a bit arrogant�but I don�t know how to say YOU came, YOU saw, and YOU conquered in Latin anymore�I�m a bit rusty�so you�ll just have to settle for me doing it.

Like I said�I�m bored�so this entry is kinda stupid and all over the place and really kinda pointless�but I haven�t had one of these in awhile�

so deal with it.
