First Entry Today

So here it is, the end of another year of my life and though I feel as though I didn't accomplish much, I really did do a lot with my life. I got engaged, dumped, paid off my car, got my own apartment, got my student loans consolidated, had a fling with my secret love who is now not speaking to me, became best buds with my Jenny, and met the great folks I know here at Dland. So in restrospect, I did get a bunch done and I am honestly proud of the way my life is starting to develop. I think 2004 will be a good year. I hope it will be a great yeay, but hey, something is always better than nothing.

I see that I have been dropped off of some folks' fave list, which I expected, but I'd be lying if I said it still doesn't hurt a bit. But that's cool, once I get my computer at home, I'll be back here writing like a demon and reconnecting with all of my favorite reads (by the way, who I miss so very much).

I guess there isn't too much more to say except that I am on my way to the cruise tomorrow and I will be sailing the seas come tomorrow night and partying my ass off on a big boat for new year's. I'm still not all that geeked up about it yet, but I'm sure one I get there it will be a totally different story and I'll come home and regale about it here. I miss being able to write here. It used to really help me muddle my way through my problems and now I just feel weird when I need to vent or gush and I can't write it down here. Oh well, next month I will have my computer and all will be well in this star child's world again.

Now it is cliche' time and I will write down my resolutions.

1. Stop being such an idiot

2. Fall out of love with the notion of being in love

3. Lose some weight (ha ha yeah right)

4. Cut back on the smoking

5. Go out more

6. Become a full fledged groupie for Satan ( I love Satan!! Can't wait for the next show)

7. Find my god son

8. Forgive my mother

9. Forgive myself

10. Bury the past

11. Go to New Orleans

12. Stay on top of my bills and clean up my credit (well try to at least)

13. Take better care of my car, apartment, and myself

14. Finish editing my book, print it, and get is sent to some publishers (eep! It only took a decade)

15. Love...unconditionally...but wisely

16. Write more

So there it is, my syllybus for 2004. Wish me luck, loves. I hope you all have a great new year.

I will see you soon.
